Bio

I’m a photographer based in Southern California, drawn to moments that are easy to walk past.

I’ve lived most of my life in California, half in the north and half in the south. A camera has given me a way to document the places I know while continually finding reasons to see them differently. To see a moment that happened once and won’t quite happen the same ever again - whether its on a crowded city street or walking by myself on a beach.

Before photography became a more focused part of my life I spent more than a decade working in restaurants. That world taught me how much the smallest details matter. A perfectly set table, the light in the room, the timing of a meal. Things that can individually go unnoticed but together turn a normal experience into something memorable. I approach photography much in the same way.

Picking up a camera has given me a reason to look more carefully at the world. And occasionally, for a fraction of a second, everything lines up.
